U.S. Department of Justice seeking additional public comment on website accessibility standards

Nearly six years after first soliciting public comment on proposed regulations outlining accessibility standards for state and local government websites, the U.S. Department of Justice published a notice this week that it is seeking additional public comment.  The Justice Department has signaled that it intends to issue standards for government websites before setting broader requirements for other parts of the Web.  To access the proposed rule, which is open for comment now until 8/08/16, click here:
