Resident came to nurses’ station crying, reporting stomach pain. She was assessed, APRN was notified, and orders were given to send to ER to rule out appendicitis. Resident was transported via EMS to AR Children’s Hospital. Resident left via EMS at 2340, and a staff went with her as well. She returned via Piney Transportation approximately 07:00 05/09/2023. She had a CT scan, lab work and an ultrasound. She was discharged with diagnosis ovarian cyst. She will be treated with anti-Inflammatory for the pain as directed.
