Arkansas Self Advocates Present (ASAP) Network
The Arkansas Self-Advocates Present (ASAP) Network is comprised of self-advocates across Arkansas that educate other self-advocates, family members, and their communities about the issues that affect the lives of people with disabilities. We envision a time when leaders in the disability advocacy movement are those with disabilities.
If you decide to become a presenter for Arkansas Self-Advocates Present Network, you will learn how to speak publicly, build a strong network, and manage your time. Presenters of ASAP will be given opportunities to put their newly developed skills to use by speaking at various events, organizations, and businesses. You will become the leader in the disability advocacy movement.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to join us every Thursday for a virtual Social Hour. During this time, we will make new connections, build genuine friendships, and discuss topics that are important to us. Now more than ever, we need connection and an alliance! Let’s make it happen!
Join us (virtually) every Thursday from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Self-advocacy and awareness is for everyone!
SAND provides advocacy training and leadership development to people with disabilities across Arkansas. Request a training for your business, facility, support group or organization.
Are you looking for a more one-on-one self-advocacy and self-awareness session? We offer individual one-hour trainings (virtual or in-person) every Monday! Each session includes a two-week follow-up to learn how the tools have impacted your everyday life. If you don’t feel you can properly use these tools, we will continue to work with you.
