Regional Self-Advocacy Training to be Held September 25-26, 2017 in Little Rock

Downtown Little Rock will be the setting for a regional self-advocacy conference, “Where Do You Fit Into the Puzzle?”  The keynote speaker is Tia Nelis, a leader in the U.S. self-advocacy movement for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  Panels include employment, Olmstead, voting, and youth leadership, and will include advocates from Georgia, Arizona, Alabama, South Carolina and Arkansas.
