Three residents were assaulted by three peers; first assault occurred while resident was laying in bed when two peers jumped on her and started hitting and kicking her, officer observed residents nose bleeding and cloths covered in blood, resident taken to Children’s Hospital; the second assault occurred while resident two was watching tv, one peer jumped on the resident and dragged her to the floor by the hair on her head, officers observed bump on forehead, resident treated by onsite nurse; third altercation occurred while resident was in room alone, one peer came in and hit resident, officers observed bump on forehead and redness to face, resident treated by onsite nurse; peers admitted to assaults and stated the residents were “snitching”.

Staff reported residents took her bracelet with key card from her wrist and guessed code; four residents ran away from facility;8/4/20 resident returned to facility and advised staff that her sister had given the runaways a ride to Texas; Resident 1 contacted facility and was picked up in Augusta, AR 3 days later. Resident 2 cleared as runaway 16 days later (08/17/20) Resident 3 found driving car 1.5 months later (9/17/20) Resident 4 transported back to Centers by FBI on 9/18/20.

Officers responded to facility for fight between the residents. Staff stated a disturbance broke out in the common area; Juvenile 1 struck Juvenile 2, and Juvenile 3 struck Juvenile 4. No injuries. There were also 2 more Juveniles involved in disturbance. Staff stated they could not separate the Juveniles to different buildings and there was not any other personnel to call.
