Staff advised officers that 2 juveniles ran away from facility at approx. 1910 hours. Officers were unable to locate. On 6/13/22, J1 was located and transported back to facility custody.

Staff advised officers that 3 juveniles ran out of the back of the facility and into the woods at approx. 2338 hours. Officer located all juveniles at approx. 0429 and transported back to facility. Juveniles stated they left out the front of the building and never entered any woods.

Upon officers arrival, staff advised juvenile had ran out of a door at the facility and exited the property through a gate that had been taken down due to construction. Officers attempted to locate juvenile but were unsuccessful. On 5/9/22, juvenile was located on a bus going into Austin, TX by Texas PD. CPS took custody of the juvenile, and officer was advised juvenile had charges from a neighboring agency and would most likely be held by that agency as well.

Officer was dispatched in reference to runaway juvenile, who left on foot and was located at provided address. Juvenile advised officer he ran away from facility because he didn’t feel safe due to there being a lot of fighting and it made him uncomfortable, as well as gave him flashbacks to memories of his parents. Juvenile also stated staff have made him feel unsafe by yelling at him and threatening to put him in restraints when he gets in trouble. Juvenile was returned to facility.
