At approximately 4:21 pm Officers were dispatched to facility for runaway. Juvenile was in altercation with Staff earlier in the day; Staff gave Juvenile medication and was let outside to get some air when he jumped the fence.

Officers located a reported runaway while searching streets behind the facility; Juvenile was handcuffed and taken back to facility.

Staff stated that 3 Employees had been assaulted by 3 Juveniles. After altercation between Juveniles started, Staff were assaulted trying to break up fight. Affidavits were filed by staff on 4 Juveniles for Battery 3rd Degree. Court date pending; All Juveniles were served on site and released back to staff.

Upon arrival, fight had been broken up by staff. A fight had occurred between Juveniles and while trying to break up fight, 2 Staff were hit by Juveniles. All Juveniles were arrested and given intake dates of 4/1/20 @ 8:30.

Staff stated that Juvenile was playing with genital area in classroom and interupting class with indecent sexual outbursts. Staff also stated that Juvenile grabbed her keys, throwing them at her. Staff stated he was trying to inappropriately touch female staff members. Staff stated the occurrences were on camera and footage has been put on a flash drive.

Staff stated that while in class, Juvenile kept getting up and brushing past her inappropriately touching her, then pretending to fall on her and making sexual inappropriate comments to her. Staff stated that other staff had been in the room to witness this. Several other complaints have been made about this individual assaulting staff.

Battery Third Degree
Staff stated Juvenile and his roommate were throwing shoes and doing “negative horse playing.” When 2 staff members went to remove the residents belongings from their rooms, Juvenile got upset and started punching, hitting both staff. Juvenile taken into custody and held at station. Juvenile later released and taken back to facility. Juvenile has intake date for 11-6-19.

Staff members stated they wanted to file assault charges against Juvenile. Staff stated Juvenile jumped the fence and he had to chase him; After returning Juvenile to facility, 3 staff took turns holding him down because he was fighting them. 2 staff stated their arms were injured by Juvenile during restraint. Juvenile had no visible injuries and did not complain of any.

Officers were dispatched in reference to residents hitting staff and trying to escape. Upon officers arrival, 2 Juveniles weren’t following instruction, and stated “fuck you” to officers. Both Juveniles were placed into custody for inciting a riot. Staff stated they were scared of the Juveniles, and 2 staff stated they were threatened by Juveniles.
