As an American citizen, your vote counts. If you are eligible to vote, you have the right to have a say in who is elected to represent you at the State Capitol in Little Rock, and in Washington, D.C. And it’s important for people with disabilities to vote, because elected officials pass laws every day that affect you in your daily life.

DRA helps make sure that people with disabilities have voting access in Arkansas, just like every other eligible voter. This means:

Checking polling places around the state to make sure they are physically accessible;
Educating voters with disabilities about voting rights and access;
Helping people with disabilities register to vote; and
Advocating for voting laws that make it easier, not harder, for people with disabilities to vote.
