Officer Kimbrough responded to Perimeter Behavioral Health in reference to a fight. Officer made contact with Jeremy Woods who advised he heard a commotion and saw that two residents were in a fight over stolen property. Woods helped separate the two and grabbed the property. Resident 1 attempted to grab it back, then became irate and pushed Woods, grabbing him. Woods and witness, Bobby Crawford, attempted to put Resident 1 in a hold and Resident 1 punched Woods in the face. Then the two began fighting while Crawford and witness, Walter Sanders, attempted to separate the two of them. Resident 1 was taken to a holding room. Officers reviewed video footage and confirmed the statements of the staff and witnesses. Resident 1 was transported to CCJC.
