Arkansas Long Term Care Ombudsman Program (and what is an ombudsman?)

An ombudsman is an official appointed to receive and investigate complaints made by individuals, usually against some type of agency or institution.  The Arkansas Long Term Care Ombudsman program is a program housed in the Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS).  This program serves as an advocate for residents in long-term care facilities, to ensure their rights are protected.

For more information on this program and their activities, please visit:  http://www.arombudsman.com/
