Disability Rights Arkansas Statement on Supreme Court Oral Arguments on Voter ID

Disability Rights Arkansas Statement on Supreme Court Oral Arguments on Voter ID

Little Rock, AR (10/2/14) – Disability Rights Arkansas has reviewed the oral arguments presented before the Arkansas Supreme Court this morning and hopes the justices’ decision will not adversely affect or disenfranchise voters with disabilities in the upcoming general election. We were encouraged by the justices’ questioning that Arkansans with disabilities will no longer be treated as second class citizens in the state of Arkansas. We look forward to the decision coming Thursday, October 9th.
