DRA is Hiring a Part-Time Executive Assistant (25 hours/week)

Disability Rights Arkansas (DRA), the federally authorized and funded nonprofit organization serving as the Protection and Advocacy System (P&A) for persons with disabilities in Arkansas, is seeking to hire a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support services to agency staff.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities – Seeking an energetic, enthusiastic individual to serve as key administrative contact person for Executive Director; schedules and maintains the Executive Director’s calendar; provides administrative support to the Board of Directors and Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) Advisory Council; schedules travel arrangements; maintains files and records; provides support in the human resources function and performs other duties as assigned.

Desirable Qualifications – This individual must have an Associate’s Degree in Office or Business Management or equivalent experience; three to five years administrative experience; and
strong computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are required.  The individual must demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and time-management
skills, and be able to work independently with little direction. Experience scheduling meetings and working with boards and councils is preferred.
