“My Technology Handbook” is a Great Tool for Those New to Computers, Smart Phones and Social Media

So, you just got a new smart phone; now what?  What is vlogging?  How do you download apps?  How do you stay safe on the Internet?  How do you Skype?  Or teleconference?

Technology is complex, and it changes every day.  What’s a newbie to do?  If you are wondering where to start, and how to answer the questions above, the “My Technology Handbook” is a great place to start.  Developed by Self-Advocates Becoming Empowered (SABE), the “My Technology Handbook” is a user-friendly guide to understanding technology, including the various forms of social media.  Best of all, it was written by people with disabilities for people with disabilities, with grant funding from the Administration on Community Living.
