Bilateral x-ray was ordered due to swelling in the fingers. The resident stated he was playing football on 2/1/24. X-ray results: Left hand acute 3rd distal phalanx fracture. APRN ordered resident to be taken to Ozark Orthopaedics. The resident reported 2/10 pain and was given 400mg PO Ibuprofen. Resident transported to Ozark Orthopaedics by PRTC transport and returned with a splint and resident to follow up in one week.
