A resident reported to the nursing department that he had injured his right hand earlier in the week playing football. APRN ordered an x-ray of the right hand. X-ray found a type II non-displaced fracture of distal fifth phalanx. Findings suggest that the fracture is healing at this time. Resident was sent to Washington Regional Medical Care in Fayetteville, AR on 4/13/24 and received a splint. He is to follow up with an orthopedic specialist.
