Resident reported pain in his right hand after he got upset and hit a wall. Nursing assessed and he was treated for the pain and given ice for swelling. APRN was notified and we received an order for an x-ray. Mobile x-ray came to facility to perform x-ray and late on 11/20/23. X-ray of the right hand showed angulated acute small finger fracture. We will take resident to Ozark Orthopedics today, 11/22/23 as a walk-in for additional treatment.
