Staff (Director) at facility stated that Juvenile1&2 were given Vyvanse pills from Juvenile3. Juvenile1 stated he took the medicine, Juvenile2 stated he threw it away. Staff stated the Juvenile3 attends a different school (Pinnacle Pointe Day Treatment). Staff stated both were seen by the nurse and parents had been contacted.

Staff advised they found a small plastic bag substance in Juveniles shoe. Staff stated Juvenile told her it was meth. Officers tested substance; Substance tested positive for meth. Juvenile was arrested and transported to Juvenile Intake without incident.

Staff advised Juvenile diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and Behavioral Disorder hit and attempted to bite her earlier in the day. Staff stated she was required to make a report.

Staff stated that while assisted other staff with administering medication to Juvenile, Juvenile became upset and began spitting and kicking at the employees. After Juvenile was sent to his dorm, he became upset when Staff told him he was not allowed to have snacks in dorm. Juvenile grabbed Staff by the neck and pulled Staffs hair, causing Staff to fall on an object. Other employees arrived on scene and regained control of situation.

Staff advised Officers of a fight that occurred between 2 juveniles at facility, and Juvenile1 was still being aggressive towards staff. Juvenile 2 stated that Juvenile1 became upset over a pen, and while she was walking by a classroom Juvenile1 jumped her and started punching her in the head until staff were able to remove her. Staff confirmed Juvenile2s statement.

Staff stated that an individual was brought to facility and evaluated. During the evaluation, individual advised she was homicidal/suicidal and thought she would hurt someone. MEMS responded and transported individual to Bridgeway Hospital.

Staff reported that Juvenile brought in tobacco possibly laced with meth. Staff were advised by individual (unknown, likely another juvenile at facility) that Juvenile crushes the meth and mixes it with the tobacco so both can be smoked at the same time. Officers did not observe any meth crystals, but it was taken by Officers to be destroyed.

Staff reported that Juvenile1 physically assaulted Juvenile2; Staff stated that Juvenile2 would be taken to hospital for medical evaluation. Juvenile2 advised Juvenile1 hit her in the face multiple times and kicked her in the leg. No serious injuries observed.

Child Abuse Hotline Referral was received. Victim1 disclosed that 2 instances of oral sex on Suspect1 and 1 instance of Suspect1 digitally penetrating Victim1. The acts were reported to be consensual; However, Suspect1 is a Staff member at facility. First incident reportedly happened around August to September 2019 and all incidents happened at facility. Investigation ongoing.

Officers responded for a stand-by to prevent a disturbance. Officers made contact with Juvenile’s Mother; Mother informed Officers that she needed her child transported to Bridgeway. Officers transported Juvenile without incident.

Staff advised she was going to the store at approximately 0030 hours when she saw a white van with 2 drivers in the parking lot. Staff stated she she returned, she drove by the individuals and both hurried into the vehicle and fled once they saw Staff. Another Employee was in her car eating when she saw 2 individuals in a car doing the same thing. Officers circulated the area with negative results; Officers advised Staff to call back when construction personnel were able to confirm a theft and advise an amount.

Staff stated at approximately 1600 hours, a fight between Juveniles occurred. Staff stated while she and other staff were breaking up fight, one of the Juveniles struck her several times. The Nurse at facility stated she tried to call police department but got busy signal; When Officers asked why she didn’t call back, Nurse stated that “in her 30 years working for the company, she has never had any incident such as Staffs( Staff that was struck by Juvenile).

Juveniles probation officer requested police officer to pick up Juvenile from facility and transport them to Pulaski County JDC for a probation violation on an original charge of aggravated assault. Juvenile was transported and accepted at JDC without incident.
