Upon arrival to facility, officer made contact with Juvenile1 who appeared very angry and was crying. Juvenile2 stated Juvenile1 was mad at them because they were writing mean things on the walls. Juvenile1 went to Juvenile 2s room and started yelling/throwing cards at them. No injuries noted.

Juvenile1 became irate for an unknown reason and began assaulting Juvenile2. Juvenile1 picked up a laptop and struck Juvenile2 across the forehead, causing swelling and redness. Juvenile1 was treated at the scene and did not need medical attention.

Upon arrival to facility, officers observed staff subduing Juvenile on the ground. Staff stated they took Juvenile into Counselors Room because the Juvenile had contraband in their pocket. When staff turned their back on Juvenile, Juvenile punched staff with a closed fist twice on the head and cheek area, causing a slight bruise. Juvenile was charged with Battery 2nd and transported to JDC for holding.

Juvenile stated they were mad and bumped into another student’s desk, then a teacher pushed the desk into his legs and another teacher wrestled him to the ground. Staff stated that after Juvenile was being disruptive and bumping into desk, they began flailing their arms when a teacher tried to restrain him. Staff stated juvenile struck them in the shoulder during the incident. No injuries noted. Juvenile was released to therapist until parent could pick them up.

Staff advised they needed MEMS to transport resident to Bridgeway for treatment because he was having a manic episode. Resident was extremely irate and refusing, stated he would rather go to prison, and began hitting himself in the head. Officers secured the scene for MEMS, with no further incident.

Upon arrival to facility, officers made contact with individual refusing to be admitted in the facility. Individual was transported there by a DHS employee; Employee was notified by their supervisor to transport individual to Hot Springs County to meet up with another DHS employee who will transfer individual to Garland County.

Staff advised they found two small bags containing yellow/orange powder. Staff questioned 3 juveniles, and they admitted to snorting the powder and advised it was another juveniles prescription of Seroquel, used for mood disorders. The powder was taken from the facility by officers.

Detectives received a CACD referral in reference to Juvenile being sexually assaulted. Juvenile advised while living at the facility, they were sexually assaulted by a staff member. Investigation is on-going.

Juvenile1 stated they were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical with Juvenile2. Staff stated as they were breaking up the fight (after food had been thrown between juveniles), Juvenile2 deliverately kicked Juvenile1 in the face. Officers observed blood on Juvenile1s shirt; Juvenile was treated by MEMS and advised to seek warrants. Juvenile2 stated they blacked out during altercation but remembered deliberately kicking Juvenile1.
