- Licensing (Peer Altercation, Restraint Injury)
- Client walked outside after a physical altercation with a peer and began to fight staff. Client was placed in a physical containment, during which he was aggressive and resistant. Client stated his wrist was injured during the containment and was taken to the ER and diagnosed with a sprain. Client was placed on assault precautions. Client was taken back to the ER on 11/10/22 after he removed his brace and utilized the metal piece as a weapon.
- Licensing follow-upon 11/8/22: Specialist viewed camera footage and observed the physical restraint and client holding his wrist afterwards. Staff were not observed using inappropriate restraint techniques. No licensing concerns noted. Client has a follow-up appointment for his wrist injury on 11/15/22.
