Staff stated Juvenile got out of facility at approximately 8:41pm; Officer searched area. At approximately 9:47pm, Juvenile came back to facility and staff got him back in the building.

Battery Third Degree, Riot, Terroristic Threatening

Officers were dispatched in reference to residents hitting staff and trying to escape. Upon officers arrival, 2 Juveniles weren’t following instruction, and stated “fuck you” to officers. Both Juveniles were placed into custody for inciting a riot. Staff stated they were scared of the Juveniles, and 2 staff stated they were threatened by Juveniles.

Battery Third Degree

Staff stated on 2/11/19, he was assisting with non-compliant, aggressive Juvenile when Juvenile grabbed and twisted staff’s upper left arm. The grabbing caused minor bruising and staff sustained a busted blood vessel, staff was ordered to hospital on 2/14/19 for further testing. Staff submitted sworn affidavit at police station.

Staff stated Juvenile slipped through door and ran out of the building into the woods.

Upon officers arrival, 2 staff members were restraining Juvenile. Staff stated Juvenile was destroying the day room and would not follow instruction. Staff stated that during restraint, Juvenile headbutted staff numerous times in nose and chin. Juvenile affidavit was done by staff against Juvenile for Battery Third Degree.

Juvenile1 stated that he was opening lobby door when Juvenile2 charged the door, came through, and started hitting J1 on the left side of his head and facial area. After calling for help, staff members came in and broke up the fight. J1 stated that during the fight he also received injuries to his right arm and his left ear. Officer: Injuries looked to be old.
