Tomorrow on Speak Up Arkansas: Your questions about the COVID vaccine, answered

KABF 88.3 logo: a black background with a yellow shape of the state of Arkansas. In black lettering, the words KABF FM 88.3, Little Rock, AR, on air since '84, with a radio tower motif in black.

Knowledge is power! And we’re giving you the knowledge you need to protect yourself and those you love from COVID-19, tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. on Speak Up Arkansas, KABF 88.3 FM.

We’ll be talking with Dr. Jennifer Dillaha, the state’s top epidemiologist. She’ll answer your most frequently asked questions about the COVID vaccine, talk about what the Arkansas Department of Health is doing to make sure that anyone who needs and wants the vaccine can get it, and find out how DRA is helping people with disabilities get access to the vaccine, no matter where in the state they live.

How do vaccines work? How do we know the vaccines are safe? Does the vaccine impact fertility? Can I get sick if I’m vaccinated? Is natural immunity better? We’ll address these questions, and many more.

Need help getting vaccinated? Call us at (800) 482-1174. We can help you find a vaccination site, help you make an appointment – even connect you to the Department of Health so they can send a pharmacist to your house with the vaccine! (Did you know they can do that? We didn’t either – and that’s just a fraction of what you’ll learn if you tune in tomorrow night.)

You can listen at 5 p.m. on KABF 88.3 FM, livestream the show at kabf.org – and as always, we’ll post the show to our website at https://disabilityrightsar.org/speak-up-arkansas.

Don’t miss it!
