Tonight! Tune in to DRA on KABF “Speak Up Arkansas”

Tonight, DRA hits the airwaves! Speak Up Arkansas is a weekly talk show on KABF 88.3 that delves into a variety of issues, from health care to education to the environment to the economy, and how they affect regular people in Central Arkansas and beyond. Starting this evening at 5:00, DRA will host the program on the third Wednesday of every month, bringing you topics of interest to the disability community. We’ll take your calls and welcome guests who can help shed light on disability-related topics and share relevant information with our listeners.

For our first episode, DRA Executive Director Tom Masseau and Legal and Advocacy Director Thomas Nichols will be on hand. We’ll discuss what the Protection and Advocacy (P&A) system does, how it began and why it’s still needed, what DRA does to advance the civil rights of people with disabilities, and how DRA helps people with disabilities live their lives on their own terms.

Tune in: Speak Up Arkansas, tonight at 5 p.m. on KABF 88.3FM.
